Mudavadi and Weta will hold a meeting tomorrow in order to consolidate the Western Region.

President Uhuru Kenyatta visited with residents of Mount Kenya on Wednesday to encourage them to stay united and support his favored presidential candidate, Hon. Raila Odinga.

Hon. Musalia Mudavadi will hold a similar ceremony tomorrow to promote Luhyia unity. The ceremony will begin at 9.00 a.m. in Hon. Musalia Mudavadi’s home. The event is planned to begin tomorrow, with 4000 delegates from the province’s larger western region expected to participate.

Mudavadi and Wetangula will attempt to rally the Luhyia region around their preferred presidential candidate, Hon. William Ruto. Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma senator Hon. Moses Wetangula would work hard to deliver substantive votes to the deputy president after joining forces with him on January 23rd.

However, the two will struggle to persuade the western region to vote for William Ruto because the Azimio La Umoja team has carefully planned to deliver the western votes to former Prime Minister Hon. Raila Odinga.

Azimio has a strong campaign staff that is canvassing around the county. Governor Oparanya, Savula, and Khamala are present in Kakamega, while the Bungoma county DAP leadership has roots in both Bungoma and Trans Nzoia counties, and the Busia county ODM team is led by Busia governor Hon. Sospeter Ojamong.

Azimio gained members from Wetangula and Mudavadi because their leaders failed to implement the decision made by ANC party head and Moses Wetangula.
