The number of incidents or fires in schools has increased in the last year, alarming not only parents of kids in these institutions but also the Ministry of Education.
The majority of these fires were sparked by rebellious and indisciplined students, and owing to police investigations, several of them have been prosecuted for their offenses.
According to Citizen TV, we received information this morning of a suppressed fire incident at one of Nakuru County’s most popular high schools.
The fire destroyed two dormitories that housed roughly 104 students from the top-performing university in Nakuru County.
Police initiated an investigation into the event and have so far arrested eleven students for arson.
The young boys will appear in court to face charges of arson in their institutions, which has startled the county and the institution’s parents.
The incident resulted in no injuries, and the fire was put out by the county fire department, but no property was rescued.
