Diana, a mother of two from Pipeline in Nairobi County, is recovering from injuries she sustained after being attacked and thrown in a bush in Mlolongo by unknown persons.
According to Diana, she had collected money from her chama on that day in the sum of ksh 32000, and as she was leaving the shop, she was ambushed from behind and hit on the head.
She was attacked right away, knocked out, and all she remembers is being stripped naked and placed in the bush with multiple cuts on her face.
Diana was tortured to a point where she even swallowed her own teeth which was removed during the torture.When the good Samaritans found Diana, they transported her to a nearby hospital, where she was treated and eventually released owing to a lack of funds to pay the medical cost.
Diana is in excruciating pain and is scheduled for imminent surgery, but she is unable to do so due to a lack of funds.
The family is now pleading with well wishers to help them raise money for Diana so that she can be treated and get back to her normal life.
