Martha Wangari Karua is a Kenyan politician and activist for social justice. She is a former Gichugu Constituency Member of Parliament and a High Court of Kenya Advocate. She served as Justice Minister until April 2009, when she resigned. Karua is also the leader of NARC Kenya and Raila Amollo Odinga’s presidential running mate in the Azimio-Oka coalition. Martha Karua is a seasoned female politician in Kenya.
She has worked tirelessly since being named Raila’s running mate, promoting the Azimio la Umoja manifesto and rallying support for Raila Odinga across the country. Martha Karua, on the other hand, had a different day after she boldly pointed his finger at Deputy President William Samoei Ruto.According to the iron lady, Christianity isn’t about bringing two bibles to church and quoting random scriptures. In addition, she stated that no one should be appointed as Jesus Christ’s deputy.
