Azimio la Umoja will not be acknowledged in the Nyanza area. Nyanza leaders have stated that they will back aspirants affiliated with the ODM party.
Leaders led by Senator James Orengo and MP Opiyo Wandayi announced that anyone wishing to be a candidate in Azimio from the Nyanza area must go through ODM.
Azimio Mashinani’s leaders were traversing the Ugunja constituency. They pointed out that Azimio is the only ODM in the region.
Opiyo Wandayi, MP for Ugunja, stated that they will not play with the other county positions, believing that the ODM party will win all five elected seats. He went on to say that the decision was made to keep their party popular.
“We can’t combine beans with corn. It’s time to tell the difference between sheep and goats. Because there is no in-between, you are either ODM or something else. People will come for various positions, presenting their ideas and listening to them, but the voting will be for ODM “He emphasized this.
