Yesterday, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua entered the ongoing debate about the International Criminal Court (ICC), claiming that opposition leaders had provoked his prosecution for safeguarding President William Ruto.
Despite this, Gachagua assured that he would remain faithful to his superior, adding that he was prepared to face the Hague-based court.
He called on coastal leaders to support the Kenya Kwanza government and pledged to increase votes for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance in the region from 44% to 80% by bringing development to the people.
He also announced the launch of six patrol boats to combat drug trafficking and illegal fishing, stating that the government is dedicated to developing the Coast region for the benefit of locals and the country.
Gachagua dismissed criticisms of his frequent visits to the area and clarified that his visits were meant to serve the people.
