President Uhuru Kenyatta has now expressed regret that Deputy President William Ruto and his allies used unfair means to gain political support in the Mt Kenya region, despite the fact that the residents of Mt Kenya will suffer at the end of the day.
Speaking on Sunday during a televised interview with Kikuyu Media stations, Uhuru, for example, explained how Ruto used BBI politics to poison the minds of Mt Kenya locals, despite the fact that they were the major beneficiaries of the Constitutional amendment process.
Similarly, while revealing that he will not relent in the political arena, the head of state added that he will do nothing to revive the BBI process unless requested by the next government.
