As the long-awaited general election day approaches, things are heating up. Two political parties are competing for play and prestige in different regions: Azimio la Umoja, a Kenyan coalition party led by Raila Amolo Odinga, and Kenya Kwanza Coalition party led by Vice President Dr. William Samoei Ruto.
The Kenya Kwanza Alliance party’s best-known Western allies are National Congress party leader Amani Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula.
Thus, two members of the United Democratic Union Party promised the UDA party’s leader, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, 70% of the vote in the Western Province, but this appears unlikely.
They both agreed with Vice President Dr. William Ruto that if they could persuade 70% of voters to vote for William Ruto, they would receive 30% of the government’s support. All of these plans are likely to fail because polls show Raila Odinga leading in four counties while Ruto leads in only one.
County of Vihiga According to the findings of the investigation, Mudavadi’s house appears to be Odinga’s stronghold. Despite a drop in support from 70% to 67.6%, a majority of county residents said they would vote for Odinga.
Raila’s stronghold of Kakamega District has the highest voter turnout in the country. The poll has grown in popularity from 56.3 percent in April to 74.4 percent in June.
