A woman has landed herself in hot water after allegedly wrestling her lover’s wife after being denied access to him.
Catherine Muthoni, the accused, had gone to see her lover, Peris Susan Wangui’s husband, at their business premises where the fracas occurred.
Peris told the court during her appearance that Catherine had come to see her husband and she had told her to wait at the reception, but she refused. Peris stated that Catherine became violent and began mercilessly beating her because she believed Peris was purposefully denying her the opportunity to meet her lover.
According to Peris’ husband, Catherine is a former girlfriend of hers, and she was surprised to see her fighting his wife after being told to wait at the reception.
Catherine, on the other hand, denied the charges before Senior Principal Margistrate Esther Kimilu and was released on Ksh 20,000 cash bail pending the next hearing.
