Wahome Thuku, a vocal lawyer, has elicited varied emotions after making a dig at his fellow Mt. Kenya leaders who attended Deputy President William Ruto’s ceremony in Eldoret on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Wahome stated on his social media website that only Mt. Kenya politicians were left behind in Sugoi, the home of Deputy President William Ruto, warning in the fire as they awaited their handshake.
Wahome Thuku claimed that “ONLY Mt Kenya politicians were left behind in Sugoi, warming up by the fire, waiting for food and envelopes.”
Kenyans, on the other hand, had differing views on the remarks. Thuku, some say it’s no big problem because they’re visitors from Mount Kenya who had to be greeted by Deputy President William Ruto.
Deputy President William Ruto held a big gathering in Eldoret, where he received blessings from his community before embarking on a nationwide campaign for votes.
