Babu Owino, an Embakasi Member of Parliament, has issued a statement in response to his summoning by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers based in Nakuru.
Babu Owino and Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed were summoned earlier today in connection with the stoning of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in Uasin Gishu County.
Owino recalled the beastly act that was done to them on Friday in a tweet on Tuesday night. He revealed that the hired goons pelting stones were after their lives and that it was only by the grace of God that they escaped death by a hair’s breadth.
“Niliona kifo na macho yangu, Sura mbaya Kabisa kifo.
Regardless of how hard you try to put make-up on Sura ya kifo kama vile alijaribu kuifanya kule Karen aki apologize Bado iko tu na Sura mbaya.
May the souls of those who attempted to kill Baba itch without the benefit of scratching, rest in peace “Owino posted a tweet.
