Numerous questions have now been raised about the significance of the four rebel Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission members, led by the body’s vice chairperson Juliana Cherera, on the date of the plite at the commission.
According to details obtained by the Nation Africa, the National Security Advisory Council hijacked the four commissioners and used them to attempt to change the results of the presidential elections in order to either favor Raila Odinga or force a rerun between the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition’s Raila Odinga and president-elect William Ruto.
Kioko Kilukumi also stated that the four commissioners disowned results that they were aware of, stating that it is extremely difficult to disown results that you are unaware of. This raises more questions about why the four commissioners only distanced themselves from the body’s outcome minutes before the final results were released by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.
