Royal Media Services CEO SK Macharia has stated that Raila Odinga, one of Kenya’s presidential candidates, will be elected as the country’s fifth president.
This comes after the business magnate stated on Twitter that he is still considering a suitable venue for Raila Odinga’s inauguration.
“I’ve been thinking about where Baba should be sworn in, but even Kasarani isn’t enough.” He made a post.
Earlier in February, when COTU boss Francis Atwoli hosted Odinga at Bukhungu Stadium, Macharia expressed his strong support for Raila, stating that he believed in him because he rarely made political mistakes.
“When it comes to politics, I rarely make mistakes.” I’ve asked Kenyans what they want in a president, and I’m confident Raila fits the bill.”
He also urged the Luhya community to support the ODM chief, saying he has the community’s best interests at heart.
“We’ve been with Raila for years, and I’ll be there for him until the end,” said the owner of Royal Media Services Limited.
Raila Odinga will hold his final rally at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday, August 6th, before elections on Tuesday, August 9th.
The rally is now known as the Firimbi Festival.
Former Prime Minister’s wife, Mama Ida Odinga, has also expressed strong support for Raila, urging Kenyans to attend the firimbi festival, which will be held at Kasarani Stadium.
“On the eve of the official campaign season’s conclusion tomorrow. We can make a significant difference for our great country if we work together. Let’s get together at Kasarani Stadium for the Azimio Firimbi Fest Finale “, she explained.
Raila has started the Firimbi (whistle) Movement in order to gain more fans’ support. The whistles will be blown early on Tuesday to remind supporters to vote.
